CE: Cue the Sun.

This picture is my featured piece because it shows some of my finer art skills, and also the patience I have with a picture. Of course, this one did not set a new record in how long I spent on a picture, nor did it qualify as my most realistic picture, but it is definitely my proudest.

Newest

My gallery has an assortment of different pieces, from the pictures that took five hours with full backgrounds, to icons that took a half an hour. I don't rely on much of a system when it comes to organization, so forgive me if my gallery is a bit hard to get around.

Favourites

The deviations that I favorite are normally only looked at once. Most of them are from my deviation box which can easily rise up to 100 in just a few hours. I favorite pictures that I like, and because I get so many deviations, favoriting's the only way to express my admiration for the picture.

Critiques

by ~yelirx

Hey there Riley, So first off, this looks like it will be a wonderful piece once it's finished, and already you've got some g...

I really only give critique when it's asked, due to the fact that I know how frustrating it is when you get critique on a piece you really didn't want one on. To me, that's insulting, and I wouldn't want to do that to someone else.

little trips to DISNEY WORLD ; ;

Journal Entry: Sun Nov 15, 2009, 6:12 PM

You may have been wondering where I ran off to the past week, right? No?! Well, whatever, I'll tell you anyways.

I went to Florida. For the entire week. And I spent my time there in Disney World, running around doing all sorts of crazy things like being dragged across the world and thrown up the highest peaks of Mount. Everest!

So...on my list of favorite things over the course of my week, here's the top ten:

10. Pirates of the Caribbean (ride)
-truthfully, this disappointed me, but it was still enjoyable. Along with the ride was a fun little show that included Jack Sparrow!! The guy playing him was quite amazing :XD:

9. Splash Mountain (ride)
-crazy ride featuring Brer Fox, Brer Bear, and Brer Rabbit...it was actually kinda creepy :lmao:

8. Japan (part of the World Showcase)
-this was just awesome right here. It had so many cool things that obviously a girl like me, who was born in Japan and has always loved it, would love. Within the whole thing, I LOVED the Japanese store inside. It had EVERYTHING I could ever think of that would relate to Japan :aww:

7. Disney characters
-lets face it, I'm such a child, but when it came to this, I think I wanted to take pictures with every Disney character I found more than my little sister! I got a few, from Stitch and Sleeping Beauty, to Snow White and Mickey Mouse (don't forget Minnie!).

6. The olden-styled colonial restaurant we ate at in Magic Kingdom (food!)
-this was the best place to eat at, I have to say. With a full view of the Haunted Mansion and even a snippet of the Show Boat (most about that below!), this was quite impressive, and that's just from the window. On the inside was a beautiful colonial style inn. I felt like I was sitting down to help plan the Boston Tea Party :lmao: And the fish was pretty good too :)

5. Laugh Floor / Stitch's Great Escape (rides)
-Laugh Floor is Monsters Inc themed comedy show, featuring very impressive technology. They PICKED people from the audience to show on screen and also involve them in the show! It was awesome!! Best part, they picked my father  Stitch's Great Escape was a fun little thing where you get to watch and be a part of Stitch's escape from prison. He spit on us...not so cool :XD: But I now have a Stitch plushie, so I'm good :aww:

4. Kali River Rapids / Everest (rides)
-could not decide between the two rides, so they tied. Animal Kingdom was pretty cool, but these were some of the highlights of the entire thing. Everest is a fast moving roller coaster that has you going in and out of the 'mountain', all while being chased by the Yeti of the mountains! Kali River Rapids...well...a white water rapid ride...I got soaked :XD:

3. DINOSAUR / Soarin (rides)
- Dinosaur is based off the movie, Dinosaur. If you haven't seen it...well see it. It's pretty awesome. Anyways, the ride was pretty good. You're in a thrilling timed expedition back to the time of dinosaurs, and you are racing against the clock, and against carnivorous dinosaurs who chase after you to find a special dino and bring him back. Pretty exciting, even if a bit scary at times :XD:

2. Show Boat (show)
-strait from Disney's brand new movie, The Princess and the Frog, a HUGE show boat floats down the river, with live music playing and a whole bunch of exciting things happening. I wish I could have gone on, that would have been amazing :aww:

1. Fantasmic (show)
-probably Disney World's most prized shows, Fantasmic is a spectacular show, the star of the show being Mickey Mouse, and we go through his dream, watching as he fights the many villains of the Disney world. It was...amazing. That's all I can say.

There was SOOOO much in the whole trip, and I KNOW that I missed some things...like Main Street, USA and the lighting of the castle in Magic Kingdom (oh yes, I was there for that :XD:). Those were amazing too :aww:

I had a lot of fun :)
